2017 Tour Revisions

  • New Tournament Golf Software: We will no longer be using Bluegolf tournament software. We are switching to a more cost effective alternative. The cost savings will be reciprocated in reduced tournament entry fee costs. The new software will allow members to sign-up for tournaments, view tournament results and receive USCGA emails.
  • POY Flights Restructure: The POY flights have been restructured from six flights per division to four flights per division. (O1,O2,O3,O4) (M1,M2,M3,M4) The change will allow for a more competitive field in terms of competition and prize distribution. The flight distribution ranges groups player of similar ability to promote equitable competition. This will also allow tournament flights and POY flights to be the same resulting in less confusion.
  • Age Requirements: Modified from age by the start of the season to be the age a member turns in 2017. In previous years any Masters players had to be age 55 by the start of the season. This year if one turns 55 no matter his date of birth, he may sign up for Masters division.
